Maintenance Mode

Using maintenance mode when editing a content

When editing a content it is best to make sure the content is in Maintenance Mode.

It is common for contents to need regular maintenance in order to update checks and tasks, update the instructions, and update the coding files. These changes are reflected almost immediately when users continue to load fresh contents. To prevent users from accessing their projects for this content, creators can use Maintenance Mode.

To put a content into Maintenance Mode, open the content in the Creator and open the "Publish" tab on the left navigation bar. In the "Publish" pane, scroll down to the bottom and toggle "Enter Maintenance Mode" to on.

When users open their projects they will receive a warning:

Maintenance mode warning

Remember to toggle maintenance mode off when no longer working on a content, otherwise users will continue to not have access.
