Issue tests allow you to search for patterns in program issue output. They must be used in conjunction with a test case, which must be linked to the task before the issue test. This way the program is executed to generate the error (or not).
Adding an Issue Test
To add an issue test, navigate to Checks in the left sidebar and use the New Check + button. Next, select the Issue Test option in the drop-down and see the settings below:
A summary of what the issue test is checking. Shown to users if the task is live and checks are shared (which is the default).
The regular expression to search for in the program's exception messages.
If enabled, test will pass if issue is present. If disabled, test will pass if issue is not present.
