Command Tests
Command tests allow you to search for specific snippets within commands run by users in the terminal.

Adding a Command Test

To add a command test, navigate to Checks in the left sidebar and use the New Check + button. Next, select the Command Test option in the drop-down and see the settings below:

Description

A summary of what the command test is checking. Shown to users if the task is live and checks are shared (which is the default).

Command Pattern

The regular expression to search for in the user's terminal history.

History Type

Determines whether all commands entered in the terminal are searched, or just bash commands.

History Length

How many commands back to search in the user's terminal history. Defaults to 1, maximum 2000.

Case Sensitive

Enforce case sensitivity in command match.
