Custom Reports

Examples of custom reports that can be created from built-in reports.

Daily Aggregated Engagement Report

This report shows the number of unique users with billable minutes across all courses per day.

  1. Download the Project Usage Digest Report for the appropriate month.

  2. Open the .csv file in any spreadsheet software with pivoting capabilities, such as Microsoft Office Excel, LibreOffice Calc, or Google Sheets.

  3. Create a pivot table by select Data > Pivot Table in the toolbar if using LibreOffice Calc or Google Sheets, or Insert > PivotTable if using Microsoft Office Excel.

  4. Drag the following column names into the appropriate fields:

    • In the "Row" field, put Date

    • In the "Column" field, put Course Name

    • In the "Data" (or "Values" if using Microsoft Office Excel) field, put Users and aggregate by sum.
